A Public Healthcare Professional and Pathologist with 38 years of work and learning experience at National & International level, which includes working as a Pathologist for over 3 decades managing clinical and administrative aspects of hospital pathology Laboratories, twenty two years as a Consultant Pathologist, teaching under/ post graduates, and healthcare workers for over 12 years in all tiers since 2007 and working as Public Health Professional with National Health Public Program (NTP) since October 2007- January 2018.
With NTP (National TB Control Program) Designed and supervised making of 214 quality assured diagnostic centres, 16 BSL 2 and 6 BSL 3 laboratories and Upgraded 32 hospitals all of above in 136 Districts of Pakistan for management of DR TB. Trained over 2000 health care workers in infection prevention against TB and made many National Guidelines and devised IEC material for TB prevention.
Currently working as National Lab Coordinator for development of Provincial Public Health Laboratories at NIH since September 2019.
